The information collected from visitors to our web site is of a general
nature and is gathered by us strictly for tracking purposes. The

Donor Privacy Policy
Peace River Refuge & Ranch is committed to protecting the privacy of its
donors and potential donors. PRRR does not sell, trade or rent the
personal identification information of its donors to third parties. We
do not collect personal identification information from any donor except
when specifically and knowingly provided to us by such donors.
The knowledge and consent of the donor, express or implied, are required
for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information by PRRR,
except where inappropriate.
PRRR will obtain the express consent of the individual for the purposes
for which his or her personal information will be collected, used or
disclosed. PRRR will state the purposes in a form that the individual
can reasonably be expected to understand.
PRRR may use personal information to contact donors in a number of ways,

donor may withdraw his or her consent to collection, use or disclosure
at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable
notice. PRRR shall inform the individual of the implications of such
withdrawal of consent.
Obtaining Consent
In
appropriate circumstances, PRRR will seek individual consent to the
collection, use and disclosure of personal information by notifying
individuals that they will be deemed to consent unless they expressly
inform PRRR to the contrary. PRRR will ensure that the individual is
entitled to use a convenient method for such notification to PRRR,
including e-mail, voice-mail and other communication facilities that
enable the client to communicate on a 24-hour basis with PRRR.
Whatever mechanism is employed by PRRR to seek express consent, it will
fairly and reasonably draw the individual's attention to the issue of

On-line Donations
We
would like our donors to be aware that donations made on-line are made
through a third party vendor called Paypal and that we
encourage our donors to read the privacy and security policy statements
of the Paypal site to understand the risks associated with making
on-line donations before submitting your donation. Any personal
identification information submitted through such external sites is not
owned by PRRR and therefore we cannot guarantee the privacy of your
information as PRRR cannot be held responsible.
PRRR is not
responsible or liable for any disputes or losses incurred by using a
third party vendor to make on-line donations.
